Sat Nam.
On August 26, 1929 our Teacher and Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan, was born. We traditionally celebrate his legacy and contribution to the world by meeting during the Amrit Vela (the Ambrosial Hours between 4 and 7 A.M.) to chant and sing. We are not worshiping but, as a worldwide community, we mark this date to allow ourselves to meditate, look and reset ourselves towards the lightest, brightest, best Selves we can be.
This Friday there are many places to do so. Join a group somewhere to gather and chant the Morning Call. One cannot reach the universal consciousness with out first realizing the group consciousness.
I will be celebrating our master’s birthday and our community at Golden Bridge at 4:30 AM and continuing the party at 11:15 AM by teaching a pranayam class at Golden Sol.
Many of the places to celebrate are listed below. All events are FREE!

“Spiritual awakening starts with individual consciousness, then progresses to group consciousness. When group consciousness is established, and you care for others, then you progress to Universal Consciousness” ~ Yogi Bhajan
